Loreal's Voluminous Butterfly Mascara

Hello Everyone!
Recently I found myself at Target looking for a new mascara and Loreal's Voluminous Butterfly mascara caught my eye! I got it in the color 868 "Blackest Black".

On the back of the packaging of the mascara, it says:

"The Butterfly Brush: For the first time, L'Oreal Paris creates an asymmetrical wing tip brush featuring a unique shape to catch every lash from corner to corner and flexible arches to lift up at the outer edge.

The Butterfly Formula: New formula infused with 1.2 mm fibers instantly coats the lashes with a soft and delicate veil for longer looking, silky feeling lashes with up to 6x the volume.

The Butterfly Effect: Every lash extended for a dramatic lash fringe that flutters.
Clump-Free, Flake-Free, Smudge-Free.
Ophthalmologist and allergy tested.
Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Tested under dermatological control."

Woah! Those are quite heavy claims for a mascara. As for the brush, I love the brush for my bottom lashes, and I feel like the brush really helps open up my eyes and coats the lashes well. However, with the asymmetrical shape of the brush, I find it quite hard to make my lashes look the same, which is important to me in finding a mascara.

As for the Formula? I quite like it! When wearing this mascara my lashes do not feel heavy and it has really good staying power. The color is very black, which is something that is also very important to me when mascara shopping. The formula gives great length to my lashes and does not leave clumps! However, that being said if you are looking for a ton of volume, you may want to use a few coats instead of just one or two.

And as a contact lens wearer I can say that this does not irritate my eyes one bit!

Would I recommend this mascara? Yes!

Loreal has impressed me with this mascara, but it is not my absolute favorite. However, if you are on a budget and are looking to try something new, I would absolutely recommend!

Thank you for reading and let me know in the comments if you have tried this mascara, and if so, what did you think of it?

xoxo- Dani
